"We had a great stay here after a long flight over from the UK. Chef Paul cooked a great breakfast, would definitely recommend a stay here if you happen to be nearby"
Ascot Budget Inn & Residences
10/10 Excellent
"Room was nice and spacious, two beds for a better night sleep with a hubby that is restless, had tea/coffee, fridge, kettle etc, shower was nice and big. Our room was on the ground floor which was perfect as my knees don't like stairs Both beds were comfy and had different thickness pillows which was great, I like mine thin. Gallopers Bowling club is so close (across the railway and on the other side of the main drag) which has great food and a bar. Walking distance to Woolies and cafe one way and lots of cafes, restaurants and ferry dock the other way, just a bit further a field. (Ferries are relaxing and cheap as, and nice way to get into the city or anywhere along the banks for cafes and shopping) It's situated nice and close to the airport, approx 11 mins away and made our short stay easy. One thing the room didn't have that they can probably remedy easy is anywhere to hang clothes properly."
