We were super impressed with the room . The view of fernery and the wild birds that were within arms reach while enjoying a glass of red on the back deck was truly special. Thank you so much for a wonderful relaxing comfortable stay. Located walking distance to Main Street and restaurants but still peaceful.

Beautiful, spacious room with lovely patio right next to some rainforest (we didn't really get to us it, unfortunately, because it was raining the night we were there). Also very close to all food options

The best accommodation I stayed in during my NZ travels. Beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, great kitchen etc. From the room, you have a wonderful view of nature from the patio. The Australian manager (can't remember his name unfortunately), at check-in, was very friendly and took the time to share the best walks and restaurants in the area. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Wonderful, beautiful hotel
Very friendly managers and check in was quick and pleasant and we were given lots of information about the town and restaurants. Parking was easy and the hotel is close to everything. Beautiful room, the fire place was such a nice touch on a cold day in Franz Josef. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it ton anyone wanting a great stay in Franz Josef.

Property was a close walk to the downtown area and easy access to get back on the road. I liked the room a lot and it felt private and was quiet. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. The only issue I had was checking out early. I ended up locking the key in the room because no one was at the front desk and there was no drop box for the key.

We were made to feel very welcome at this property. The manager was very courteous and helpful on our arrival. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy. Amenities very good. Close to town dining, shopping options, and the hot pools 3 minutes walk away

We arrived on a rainy day, so we were not able to enjoy the lovely, little, private patio just outside the sliding door from our room. The room was large and nicely appointed with soothing colors and a comfortable bed. There is a well-equipped kitchenette as well. The lady at the front desk was very hospitable and welcoming.
