Ahoy! Savoy!

It was centrally located and right across the main train terminal. Lots of good eating places in rhe area and is walkable to a lot of local tourist spots.

Close to the main train station so easily accessible for connections to the airport, around the city and even to the National lines too. We went to Cologne one day so getting to the station was no problem. As for sites around Frankfurt, 10 minutes walking distance to the main tower and Romer Square. An ideal hotel if you’re wanting a good location with a good price.

Conveniently located but on an emergency services route to lots of sirens throughout the night. Walkable location to many city attractions and restaurants. Hotel facilities good but needed better cooling options as the ceiling fan really did not help cool the room down.

Good location and attractive price

This hotel is two blocks from the central train station (Frankfurt Hbf) with a direct connection by S-Bahn to the Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), 15-min train ride. I only stayed for one night before my flight from FRA and left early, so I did not have breakfast at the hotel. However, I enjoyed some coffee available in the lobby anytime - which was a good plus!

The amenities on the site said that breakfast and fitness facilities (gym, pool, and sauna) would be available. Upon arrival I was told that I needed to pay to access fitness facilities and then there was no breakfast (not even for a fee).

Cheap room close to the station

The room was alright, not horrible but not great either. Some of the furniture was in need of replacing. The windows were really drafty and a lot of street noise could be heard. The staff was nice upon check-in :) I booked our room at this hotel because it’s very close to the train station (it is! very convenient) and because there is a pool. However, upon arrival, we were notified the pool and spa facilities were closed. This was disappointing but it was still a cheap room really close to the station so overall we got what we paid for.

Shabby and no where near standard for its claimed 4 star rating. 1 star would be more accurate. Near main station and area plagued with drunks and druggies. Property has seen its best days a long, long time ago. Avoid.

Unfortunately there was no air-conditioning or a fan in the room so it was super hot, with the window open it was really difficult to sleep due to the street noise.

Simple and central

This must once have been a smart hotel, but it is somewhat neglected. There are stains and tears and scratches. There was once a bar and a restaurant and a buffet breakfast was once available. No longer. Conveniently close to the railway station on the south side--which is a little cleaner and more respectable than elsewhere in the area.

Property is tired and run down… nothing was open except the old indoor pool. Everything worn out. Room didn’t have freshness or clean feel. Bedding and towels were old and worn. Whilst it wasn’t expensive, it wasn’t what was advertised .. the staff were delightful and helpful.

We like that it’s about 3min walk to the train station. Receptionists were friendly and cheerful. But we were disappointed with outside of the hotel. We saw people on the streets doing drugs, drunk from alcohol, throwing up, and fighting—all in one day, broad daylight! Then comes night, we heard people screaming around 2am. Couple of sirens going off. Our baby woke up a few times. We felt unsafe and not relaxed.

It was absolutely a nightmare story at this hotel and my recommendation is for no one to get scammed here. I thought paying a decently good amount and near the central station would be a good choice but definitely was not the case. There was blood on the curtains, the floor was not clean at all, going stains on the carpets, washroom was dirty. The whole experience was just hell. No Ac, water is not supplied, resteraunt downstairs is closed.

Mon séjour à l’Hôtel Savoie a été plutôt décevant. Plusieurs services annoncés n’étaient pas disponibles : la piscine était fermée pour rénovations et il n’y avait pas de buanderie, on m’a plutôt dirigé vers une laverie à proximité. Des travaux importants avaient lieu sur mon étage, avec des ouvriers qui circulaient souvent dans les ascenseurs. Le déjeuner était bon, mais la chambre était vieillotte et le tapis usé à plusieurs endroits. Dans l’ensemble, l’expérience était en deçà de mes attentes.

部屋の冷蔵庫に入っている飲み物が無料で飲めることは良かったのですが、冷蔵庫の電源は入っているものの機能しておらず、飲み物はすべて常温でした。朝食の際、カフェマシーンが壊れていて、コーヒーは飲めませんでした。代わりに紅茶と思いましたが、ティーバック６種類の置いてある机が暗く銘柄の説明書きが読めず、「照明を明るくして」と頼んだところ、「照明は壊れていてこれ以上明るくできない」との回答をもらいました。
