"Motel Bear Lake - Is a really cute property with nice, clean rooms. They are pet friendly, which is great. The property has several areas to walk your dog. There is a gas station directly across from the hotel for convenience. This is not a chain hotel - which is great. We will plan to stay here if ever in the area again. "

"Great location for Sleeping Bear Dunes and surrounding area! Within walking distance of restaurants, beach, gas station, and National Park Visitor's Center. Hotel was very nice, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Empire is a nice little town. Empire Village Inn pizza is amazing! Catch the sunset at Empire beach or on Empire Bluffs Trail!"

"This resort was perfect for a little Up North pit stop. We were scheduled for 2 nights but when we had an issue at our Air BNB we were able to get in for a 3rd! The owner was amazingly sweet & accommodating! Kelly at the front desk & the 2 gals in house keeping were super friendly too! Great location & loved the private area by on the lake, very peaceful! My only suggestion would be to get better pillows. The pillows were too thin & not comfortable. Sleeping in a foreign bed is hard enough but hotel pillows always make a huge difference."
