Bed and Breakfast in Morcott

"Dirty bathroom, rooms in need of modernisation. Wouldn’t recommend. Standard of cleanliness of rooms generally leaves a lot to be desired. Indicative of the standards is the note left by the housekeeping team….. on a notepad that had previously been soaked by an unknown liquid. Not sure what’s worse - the fact that they didn’t even notice or the fact that they did, and didn’t think it was an issue. Generally run down, wouldn’t return. "

"Rushton Hall is a wonderful place. It sits in immaculate grounds and the building has a fascinating history (ask to see the priest hole!) All the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The pool was warm and clean. Food delicious and well-served. Highly recommended 👌. "

"On the whole enjoyed our one night stay. Property is lovely and our ground floor room was clean and warm. Only downside was black mold on the shower tray edge but the power shower was awesome.The breakfast room is nicely decorated and the food on offer was of excellent quality and well cooked.goos continental selection. Overall it is a lovely hotel and we would stay again."

"Room climate control kept returning to 19 deg C despite attempts to up temperature to 22 deg C. I woke up with a migraine and could not partake of either the spa or buffet breakfast which was included in my stay so cannot comment on these aspects of the hotel facilities."
