"Very friendly welcome and very approachable and helpful. Room was good size. Bed and bedding fine. Breakfast simple but adequate. It needed topping up quicker though. Parking spaces got filled up quickly but you can park on the grass out front. Main gripe was bathroom which needed updating as it was very mouldy."

"A very comfortable cottage. Excellent enclosed garden if you have a dog and great walks within 200 yards of the cottage to the 'deeps' or beyond to at least two longer distance paths. Stamford is ten minutes away and if yoir visiting family in the area its a great base with good road links.We had our break at half term (February) the cottage is well heated with a log burning fire!....we bought extra logs from Morrisons in Stamford (about £8 a bag).Bob and Sarah provided a great welcome pack which was much appreciated. We would recommend this cottage and would return in the future."

"Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish!! The house was immaculate & perfect in every way. There were 9 family members celebrating ours son’s 21st birthday - the hamper on arrival was a lovely touch. There is nothing that this house doesn’t offer. The only sad part about the weekend was leaving. Thank you for wonderful stay "

"We absolutely loved every thing about our stay at bee hive! The perfect place to meet up with very good friends. The hot tub was great fun, food on site delicious- we adored the calm quiet atmosphere and gorgeous view from our veranda. The entire place was so clean too..! Could not fault a thing!"

"Everything about this property was perfect. Lovely clean room with modern power shower beautifully tiled. Lots of little extras such as luxury soap, shower gel, body lotion. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets and a small bottle of milk each day, not to mention the little chocolates and hot chocolate and biscuits. A small fridge with ice box in the room and of course a kettle. They just enjoyed adding those extra touches which make all the difference. The outdoor pool and sunbeds were perfect during the hot weather. The pool was lovely and warm and the hot tub was a bonus too. There was a bar which was well stocked, a games room and a lounge as well as a small restaurant which opens most days for evening meals but not everyday. However there are plenty of places within 4 miles of the property for eating if required. The staff were amazing. Everyone was friendly, kind, helpful and went out of their way to ensure you had everything you needed. As for the breakfast, absolutely top notch. The cooked breakfast had fresh meat from a local farm shop, there was cereal, fruit juice, real fresh fruit salad, yogurt. Everything you would want. The location is on a quiet lane overlooking fields on one side and the pool on the other side. All the lodges are on the ground floor and we found it very quiet, no traffic noise at all A stay at this property is pure luxury and an absolute joy. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone and a repeat stay is definitely on the cards."

"Lovely property. Very clean & staff were very helpful. Wood fired hot tub maybe not ideal & you have to buy your own wood after night one (b&m much cheaper than buying it there). But was good it was lit & warmed up for us on arrival. A very enjoyable stay, although we left a lot of food & drink in the fridge & we were almost home by the time we realised 😞"
