"Wonderful stay with a few shortcomings. No instructions for operating tv. Screens were missing in the downstairs porch. We could not use the downstairs porch due to biting insects. The front steps to the house need some repair. We used the back steps because the front steps lean. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the fire pit and dock."

"We booked this house for a group of us of 3 adult couples for a visit to St Marys. The house was a 10 minute drive from main town. The house outside looks a little rundown, appears to be a double wide and the bathrooms a little old. However it had everything we needed and were very comfortable staying there. Plenty of room and everything was funtionable."

"This location truly lives up to its name. It is located in a spot where you are close distance to local restaurants and shopping as well having plenty of places to walk your dog. Close to Fernandina Beach for some great mini golf. All around a spot my husband and I would visit again."

"The Cannonball House was just perfect for our group. It was a perfect location. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch at night. The property manager was easy to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. We will definitely stay in this beautiful home when we visit St. Mary's again."

"Very clean. New. Cute! My only critique would be a king bed is needed in one of the bedrooms and an upgraded mattress would be better. Also a grill cover would be good."

"Newly renovated and well apportioned. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms (One with a shower and tub and the other just a shower) upstairs and one bedroom and bathroom (shower) downstairs. All bedroom were large and included a sitting area. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the river behind the house. Host was very helpful."

"Stayed there for only 2 nights for the railfan winterfest. The house is very close to the tracks but still just far enough away.(separated only by a small parking lot and long grassy yard) You can see the trains just by opening the back door. Conductors Cabin is a home away from home. Extremely clean, the beds are very comfortable. the decor is up to date and very nice. Just a lovely and cozy home. And, the hosts are very, very nice and easy to work with. Definitely will try to stay there again...

"We spent a couple of days here and it was great. The house is clean, comfortable, and had everything we might need. It was about 30 minutes to the swamp, but an easy drive. Going to the swamp showed us all the good places to eat in town. We visited in late May. A couple of house down from this house was a u-pick blueberry farm. It was hot, but we got a ton of blueberries and they are fantastic. The house is great, highly recommend it if you are in this area a need a place to stay."

The kitchen was well stocked, and the property was clean and nestled in a very quiet neighborhood just a 15-minute walk from downtown St. Mary's where there is much to see and do at the waterfront. The manager was extremely accommodating and she responded to every question promptly. Our grandchildren loved the pool and the room that slept 8 so they could be together. There is plenty of space to go around and we loved the...

"My family enjoyed our week at Joel’s rental home. The house and grounds are beautiful! It included all the amenities you need. My grandson loved the pool. It is central to visiting Jacksonville, Jekyll Island, Amelia Island, Okeefenokee swamp, St Simons and more. We visited them all! Thank you for letting us stay in your house."

"Great house had everything we needed. It was in a quite safe neighborhood. The only thing we all thought was that the mattress's were not comfortable and to me that’s a make or break for me. "
