"Great newly remodeled seaside cottage. Level no stairs except to your private beach path with direct and easy access to the beach. Prime location in proximity to main beach and all the island has to offer. Responsive host and nicely appointed unit with washer dryer two bed/bath and open floor plan kitchen and living area and most of all great views of the Atlantic Ocean just steps from the doorway. Modern with a developing vintage beach shack twist. Can’t wait to see what they do with it next."

"The house is just as listed and very comfortable. A great quiet neighborhood and easy to get to “downtown” in about5 minutes. Sweet stay. Really enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening rocking on the front porch under the live oaks."

"Property was as described. I planned a last minute trip and found the surf shack. While not on the beach or historical district, it a very brief drive or Uber. Great host!"

"The cottage was like being at my grandmother’s house. Very warm and comfortable. I was on this trip with my mom, sister and daughter. Would love to stay here again, with my husband. We came here to go to Cumberland Island. This house is very convenient for the ferry. "

"This is a very comfortable and convenient property with a friendly and well organized owner. The house is conveniently located close to the beach, state park and local shops. The neighborhood is residential and secure. Very well equipped kitchen and lots of room for a family. Would definitely stay again."

"The 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for me and my 2 married friends to visit St Mary. They stayed in the queen bed room and me in the twin room. Really cute fenced in patio on the side and a separate covered front porch as well (we kept our bikes there while it rained). Great location for biking around St Mary and also taking the ferry to Cumberland Island!"

"View and beach were beautiful. Beach was not crowded. The host who lived on the property was very cordial. Pet friendly I would have liked to see some things cleaner. The cottage was located directly on A1A and the noise was loud while trying to sleep. The stairs leading into the cottage would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. Overall we had a great stay."

"Very clean and peaceful setting. Convenient to area stores and downtown. A little more info on where AC system thermostat and all other appliances info was would help."

"We traveled to Fernandina Beach to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a short stay. We booked this property because my daughter was bringing friends and the bed situation in this house was just right. My daughter was able to stay with her friends in one bedroom while I had the other bedroom. There was also space in the main part of the house for a queen size air mattress. The house was very clean and as pictured in the listing photos so we were happy. We also enjoyed a couple of the features...

"Comfortable and clean cottage well supplied with all your needs. Less than a mile to great restaurants and beach access. Our little Doxie enjoyed her stay too! Will definitely come back to this cottage again. Owner was outstanding in communication. Try it you’ll love it!"

"Righton the ocean and a short walk to a large park and several good bar/restaurants. short distance to Clinch State Park a good place to hike and ride bikes. Unit is old, but newer appliances."

"The house is very close to the beach. Walking back and forth no issues. Master bedroom had a leak from upstairs. Bathroom in master is crazy. Step up to use the toilet and shower step way up don’t slip of piece of marble. Crazy add ons. Wash n fold in town was very useful."

"We loved the accommodation, our only complaint was a distinct smell of someone having smoked in the room. We are ex smokers so I told management we were OK with it, but wanted to make them aware we weren’t the culprits, and not to charge us the $250 fine for smoking, but now I’m home I realize our clothes smell of smoke. Other than that minor problem it was a perfect little getaway place"
