"This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. "Apartment was very clean and in a perfect position to explore. Very quiet too.Several good restaurants 2 minutes walk away and more in the Medieval City. There are a few different walking routes up to the Chateau but none were too strenuous (we are in our 60’s & 70’s)There’s a lovely Épicerie just 2 doors away where you can buy fresh baguettes, cheese, wine and other provisions, the staff there are extremely friendly.This was our first time in France and it was beyond our expectations."

"Bel endroit tranquille. Espace propre, confortable, sombre et assez moderne. Très grande salle de bain. Accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Ascenseur. Stationnement sécurisé. À moins de 10 min de marche de la Cité médiévale. Je recommande. Le seul bémol est: instruments de cuisine est très très limité. Il manque: un égouttoir (pour les pâtes), un couteau tranchant et une casserole (avec couvercle) suffisamment grande pour cuire des pâtes pour 2 personnes. On s’est débrouillé mais cela aurait pu être plus facilitant. C’est dans une résidence pour seniors, mais ça ne pose aucun problème. J’y retournerais."

"The hotel was wonderful. The property itself was very interesting in a brilliant location. What let it down was the state of the bedroom and the bathroom. In a four-star hotel, you do not expect mold in the bathroom and stains and bald spots on the carpets in the bedroom. A nice hotel, a great location, but perhaps a little bit of updating needed in one of the bedrooms."

"The room was clean and staff very helpful. However, the room is very small and the bathroom is a wet room, meaning no separate shower from the rest of the bathroom. The shower wand is not user friendly and we didn’t realize when we turned on the water that it lterally sprayed across the room, wetting our bathroom countertop and personal items. No coffee in the room if you like having a cup first thing in the morning."

"The hotel has a great view of the castle and the roof top bar is definitely a bonus. The room was clean and have everything we needed however the toilet was in what can only be described as a cupboard with no space at all. The decor was too dark so much so that we couldn’t find the light switches! The carpet was black and when we dropped a black hair brush on the floor it took us 10 Minutes to find it!"
