"Stopped over on my way travelling back home. Pub was busy on this Friday night, but staff were on hand to welcome me. Very friendly manner and most helpful. As I arrived a little later than planned, I just made it in time to get my food order in, which again the staff were very helpful to assist. I had their steak and ale pie, which was very good and I would certainly recommend this. I overheard a conversation while eating that the person who cooked the food doesn't like to call himself a chef as he is not professionally trained. Well all I can say is I really enjoyed it (and his breakfast the next morning). My room was spot on. I had driven almost 350 miles that day, so needed a bed that was comfortable and I again I wasn't disappointed. While I could hear the noise from the bar below, that was fine. After all its a pub and that's why earplugs were invented. I slept really well. All in all, would I stay again? Yes. Would I recommend this to other? Most certainly. Thank you folks at The Countryman's Inn."

"This house was amazing it was actually larger than it looked in the pictures. It was more than we had imagined, the Hosts were very friendly, and attentive as well. would definitely want to stay here again or recommend to all who would be this area. It was set in the countryside but, less than ten minutes to markets, Pubs, and restaurants."

"A cosy cottage, on arrival we had been left milk, tea ,coffee, biscuits a some homemade lemon drizzle cake which was lovely. A nice cuppa and cake ,just what we needed after our journey. Every thing you need for a lovely break."

"A beautiful setting with amazing views. The house is spacious and has everything you need for a week away. Use Google Maps and you'll find it easily. Lots to see and do nearby. In daylight you can also walk from the cottage to Cover Bridge Inn for a lovely meal and to Jervaux Abbey."

"Lovely quiet area. Nice that there's only four lodges. Wild life is fabulous.The lodge has everything you need for your stay, plus the added bonus of TVs in the bedrooms.Great that there is no mobile phone signal, so it's very relaxing even though there is internetNot too far into Masham for groceries.Our only criticism is, and it's personal preference, is that the sofas are a bit to low for us.The dog loved watching the rabbits and squirrels.Will visit again"

"Actually that wasn't great. Our dogs are used to grass which there was a small lawn at the front but we had to oversee them as it wasn't secure Our suggestion would be desperately needs a gate which would be great"
