"This was one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. Grounds were well maintained and very lush. Staff was very helpful and always willing to go out of their way to make sure you had what you needed. Amazing place and we cannot wait to return. We happened to be there at the same time one of the owners was also there.... Incredible man and you can tell he was a true businessman who cared about his staff, business, very personable and also wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. "This place was perfect for my family (adult children). Lots of wild life on the resort. The beautiful breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff at the desk was friendly and helpful. Rustic Jungle vibes in gorgeous setting. Many nights ended with a swim at the pool. Excellent base camp for Manzanillo, Cahuita, Uva, and of course Puerto Viejo. It is true about water pressure or lack there of, and some of the finishes in buildings and bungalows show their age, it manages still to keep it's charm. We will be back."

"This is a very peaceful hotel with a nice pool and beautiful landscaping. The town and main road can be overwhelmingly loud and busy at times, so it was great to have a little oasis of calm just outside the main centre. The room was comfortable and well appointed and all three breakfast options were tasty. "

"This hotel was fantastic. Super clean. The staff was very helpful, especially the staff at the front desk. Speaking very broken Spanish was not a problem as almost everyone can communicate in English. The breakfasts were very tasty and were included - we chose from a menu of about 6 main items. The property is roughly a 10 minute walk from the main street/beach. If we return to this part of Costa Rica, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."
