"Everything about this property is wonderful. We cannot say enough about the hotel staff! Literally, EVERYTHING was great. We highly recommend this place. Take the little plane to the Limon airport and just have them set up your transportation. They'll have someone waiting for you. We had zero problems. Everything went as smooth as possible because of the Awa staff! We will return to the Caribbean coast of Punta Cana and most definitely stay at the Awa Beach Hotel again! I'd give them 10 stars if i could! The roim was spotless, the beach was great. Rhe included breakfast was wonderful.... "

"When you see that this VRBO has such high ratings, there is a reason. It was fabulous! The property is as beautiful as the pictures. You are tucked into the jungle, but within walking distance to a grocery store, roadside market, restaurants, and the beach. The walking path to the beach is even magical. The landscaping on the property is a vacation all on its own. We saw monkeys, a cute agouti family, beautiful birds and butterflies, and even a sloth. We went in the "rainy season" (June) and were a bit nervious about what that would look like, but that was even magical. It rained everyday, but not for very long, and I kept talking videos off the back porch, because it was so beautiful, warm, and relaxing. We took a dance class on the back patio with a local lady that Erinn recommended. The house was open, comfortable, and felt in harmony with the beauty of the property. You will see this in other reviews, but Erinn was amazing too. You can tell that she really cares about the time you are having and wants you to feel welcome. She truly goes above and beyond in so many ways. And lastly, I debated going to the Pacific side, or the Carribean side of Costa Rica. I haven't been to the Pacific side yet, but the richness of culture, the natural beauty, the variety of scenery, the friendliness of the locals, the food...even the drive down from San Jose was incredible. We just fell in love with this area, and Casa Bonita was the beautiful home-base of our adventures. Grateful!"
