"We only saw the property the morning we left. It does have a beautiful view. However, we had a late check in the night before and there was no lobby service. I had a key card that didn't work even after calling three separate times to fix the card. We even got changed to a different room and card still didn't work. Finally, the person on the phone had me switch to a different card and we programmed that one. He said if that card didn't work he would help me find a different place to stay for the night. I was confused. I asked if he meant a different place on the property or a different hotel. He said a different hotel! In all my travels I've never had a hotel tell me they would not fix their problem (the cards) and just help me find a different place to stay. It was 9:30 pm and it was just myself and two daughters. What kind of place says they "give up" and will just help me stay elsewhere? It was so bizarre. Thankfully, the new card worked on the door to our new room. I would definitely not have stayed here if I had known there would be no one in person to help us check in. So, just beware that if you don't check in when their lobby is open, you will be doing it all through a phone and a possibly faulty key card system! "

"We only stayed one night. The staff was friendly and the room clean. We are at the hotel restaurant and our server was friendly and the food good. I will stay there the next time we are in Bellingham."

"Ale Erter staff I would be arriving late, around 11:30 pm. Was told that would be no problem and just call the after hour number. Called for about 20 minutes, left voice mail but nothing. Had to book a different hotel, luckily there was another one open. Also sent an e-mail last night. It is 1 pm next day and still no response from this hotel. "

"Always a nice and quiet visit. I stay at least 3 days a month there and it's so nice a clean. The staff is sweet and I didn't tell you this but they will work within your budget if you're a good guest "
