It was clean and a place to rest your head. Dated and small but nothing to complain about! Staff was good and they accommodate late check in’s well. Bed was tilted so your head was lower than your feet but we just slept backwards. All in all a decent place.

Room/bathroom was clean and didn’t have any smells. Couch was super comfy, I almost slept on it! We were in the second building, first floor, and it only had egress windows, which was fine. It was super quiet, great location, and parking was easy. They sent a pre-check in notice which I filled it but then they needed everything at check in anyway. The technology behind the checkin was fine. I liked that they offered cookies/snacks for purchase. They also offered a late checkout of 12:30 for $40 (via the checkin site) and super late check out of 2:00p for $50. I thought that was a good value and good to know for next time. Whilst in town, go to Nonna Luisa’s. Amazing Italian food and great atmosphere. We live a few hours south by came to Anacortes just for the restaurant.

The check in was fine, staff friendly and very helpful. However, though the shower had plenty of hot water, the bathroom sink had no hot water at night nor in the morning. Also the coffee machine only managed to make a cold, weak coffee. Undrinkable. I called for help in the morning, but got none.

We check in in the evening. The clerk was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the room, it was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the fireplace as well. We were pleased with the rate too. We would stay again!

Super early check in was accommodated, great location, clean rooms, not expensive, close parking. A/C was old - it was a window unit that either cooled or heated. Worked fine, but problematic keeping a temperature when the unit is set to heat and it warms up past the set point - it will never cool unless you switch it. A nitpick, but otherwise, a nice place to overnight.

Stay was good- room comfortable and fireplace gave it a nice touch. To the hotel owner I suggest changing the toilet seat which was visibly worn out and reminding cleaning personnel to also clean the fireplace shelf which was dusty. Everything else was great.

There are really no amenities, such as a pool, hot tub, or fitness center. There is a laundry, which we did not use. The unit itself was very clean. The beds were comfortable; even the fold-out couch had a decent mattress. They use low-wattage lightbulbs because the lighting is fairly dim, except in the bathroom, which is well-lit. The kitchen was why I gave it only 4 stars. The pans are nice stainless steel, which I like, but there was only a scouring sponge to clean them - no steel wool scrubber - so cleaning them after cooking was labor-intensive. The dishes and glasses were fine. There were not enough utensils and no sharp knife for food prep. We were there for 3 days, and there was only 1 kitchen towel, whereas at home I use a new, clean one every day. However, the windows were large and let in a lot of light, which we enjoyed. The towels were soft. The shower head was powerful. The exterior is rather run-down, with lots of spider webs in what used to be a flower area and near the front door. The location is excellent, close to the docks and restaurants, either by car or walking. We did both.
