"We stayed in one of the lodges which was superb. Clean, with quality furnishings, comfortable beds, and a two minute stroll to the amenities. Beautiful, well kept grounds and pleasant, helpful staff made this a fantastic stay. Although we only stayed for the one night, we were so impressed we are now intending to book one of the lodges for several nights next time. I should also mention that the surrounding countryside is stunning and there is plenty to do and see for all ages."

"My room was amazing! It was very spacious and comfortable. The tea was really nicd and the bathroom was huge with lots of storage. I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute that I was in my room. I ate at the restaurant and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. It was very apparent that it was made to order. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it. It is also a nice driving distance from Edinburgh. "

No air conditioning and the room gof quite stuffy/warm at night despite windows being open to let air circulate. Shower and toiletries were excellent. We had dinner in the hotel. The food was overpriced and not cooked to order requirements. The wine was not properly chilled either. Breakfast was average with a number of items incurring a supplement, including a staggering £4 for a cappuchino/latte/hot...
