"Stayed in room 12A which had a nice view over the sea. Room was clean and modern - no a/c but a powerful fan had been placed in the room before arrival and the windows opened. Each member of staff was cheerful, polite and helpful. Breakfast was nice and value for money."

"I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. Being a gardener, I tried to look after the remaining plants and had to transplant one huge heuchera plants that was literally hanging in the air as its pot was...

"Stayed for one night on the way to Cornwall. We had family interconnecting rooms. Very clean and to a high standard felt brand new! Friendly staff on reception. Nice breakfast. Very nice hotel. Those that compared it to a Premier Inn, I’d love to know which one?!! Just stayed at one and it was awful in comparison! Definitely recommend."
"From the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel welcome, the young man on reception was very helpful and friendly he offered us an upgrade to a sea view room and honestly could not fault the view or the lovely sunsets. The room was spacious and clean, with everything we could need on hand. we did not eat at the hotel as we were visiting family but from the glimpses into the restaurant it looked very nice and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.,"
"This was a lovely Hotel breakfast was great Full English or Continental or you could ask for other things EG I had poached eggs on English Muffin which was lovely. We also
had two evening meals which were just as enjoyable Really enjoyed our stay.
The only thing I was disappointed with was the price of parking £15 a day was very steep especially being a quest at the hotel and having a disabled husband not being able to take advantage of free disability parking for our entire stay with on street parking which we have on other stay's in Torquay as couldn't drop him and luggage
off and leave him maybe for quest's with disabilities
there could be some sort of concession Other wise we really enjoyed our stay"
"The staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was excellent. Our sea view room was wonderful but very warm in a heatwave! There was a small fan but the window didn't open far due to safety so we did need our own additional fans. Our only recommendation to the management would be to please sort out the shower. After a day on the beach a good shower with decent pressure and temperature control is essential. Also the shower screen was so small it was impossible to avoid water flooding the bathroom floor. Other than that we would definitely stay again."
