Everything about Buckland Manor is excellent - could not wish for a better venue for a relaxing holiday.

It had a feeling of history and the rooms made you feel you were back in time. Yet the facilities in the room were modern. The breakfast eaten there was fantastic - best ever!

Awesome stay. Lovely country pub & restaurant.

Property with interesting history - French Royalty and use by BBC during WW2 and after. Fine wooded interior and quaint outbuildings; quiet comfortable rooms and excellent meals and breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lords of the Manor. The house is absolutely beautiful and the ground surrounding it are classic picturesque countryside. Lovely walk through upper and lower slaughter. We had dinner at the restaurant which was a bit too fancy and pricey for our tastes but the staff were lovely and very kind. The room was wonderful for the night and I would recommend it!

The stairs to have such a fabulous character room were worth it 😀

Restaurant 10/10 food

The breakfast was great. The room a little small but decor very tasteful. I would recommend a room upgrade if offered. I’ll definitely return.

Very friendly service from the moment we arrived. The room was nice and everything was very clean. Nice atmosphere in the bar. I had the pasta for dinner and it was the best meal I have had on my holiday. Very good. The breakfast was also very nice and generous. I’d happily stay here again. Very good value for money.

Lovely property with a well appointed room and a lovely host. Breakfast was excellent.

Loved the air con in this heatwave. Breakfast and service was amazing. Great location. Would stay again

From the welcome (shout out to Darcy) to the bed, the bathroom, the location, the breakfast.... all was great. Just be aware, they don't have their own car park. But we parked in the car park closest to the hotel, which was the same as having their own... it just cost a little more.

If you enjoy walking and delicious food the Slaughters Inn is for you. Less than 2 hours on the train from London the Inn organised a taxi to whisk us away to Lower Slaughter. We were greated by cheerful staff and shown to an elegant room with all the comforts. The Inn boasts a very pretty and spacious garden perfect for outdoor dining. We really enjoyed the food and wine from the menu on both evenings. The breakfast is also good with a wide selection of cooked plus the buffet option. Best of...

This is a beautiful (new) hotel in the centre of Gloucester really close to all the attractions and shops. The rooms are spacious and really comfortable; great beds, big fluffy towels and modern bathrooms. There are USB-B and USB-C charging points beside the bed which is great for international travellers. There is also a fridge, complimentary water, lots of beverages, a small bottle of real milk and a Nespresso machine. There is also a wardrobe with complimentary dressing gowns, clothes steamer...

Only stayed one night, wish we had more time. Beautiful old Abbey tastefully remodelled into upmarket accommodation. Good food in restaurant and very good breakfast. Was worried on arrival as venue for a school prom night but staff well organised and did not bother other guests. Look forward to returning ...brilliant

Old Cotswold stone main building (with 1970’s extension) with recently updated bar/restaurant area. Lovely and helpful staff members who made my stay as a single person comfortable. Bar/dining area with a fire and good range of drinks/food.
