"We (a group of 5 friends and family) stayed here for 4 days after doing a kayak trip. It was fantastic - relaxed, colorful and quiet. It is not on the malecon but is within easy walking distance. "Location excellent--2 blocks down to Malecon. Lots of great dinner, breakfast and bar options within 10 minutes. Dinner at Casamarte gives wonderful of sunsets, people watching. Parking--tricky, but have to know the colour system for curbside paint, no parking in red, green, yellow or blue. White/no colour is OK. Got a spot by the hotel front door. Interior is spacious and like an art gallery under renovation. Room 5 also spacious, but needs blinds to keep lobby lights out of the room."

"Almost a mile from the boardwalk is a beautiful small hotel with 1 and 2 bedroom suites with a full kitchen.. I got my steps in every day walking to the western marina to enjoy the scuba diving with sea lions and whale sharks snorkeling. When I didn't feel like walking, ubers were just a few dollars US from anywhere in the city.. Planning on staying here again when I return. Absolutely wonderful!"
