and ten minutes picturesque walk from lovely pub and cafes in Emsworth. The house was large and spacious with plenty of room to eat together inside and out, a huge lounge with three sofas and plenty of beds. The beds were comfortable although we'd have liked the layout to allow for the twin bedded rooms to be used as double beds more easily. ...

"What a wonderful place this is. The deckhouse was really comfortable and had everything you could want for self catering and more! The surroundings are beautiful with the pond and lots of wildlife to see from the large balcony. A short walk to the estuary and Thorney Island. Emsworth village itself is lovely with a very good bakery and lots of places for evening meals. Would recommend The Driftwood cafe, JJ's, The Coal Exchange & The Sussex Brewery. All very dog friendly as are the locals....

"This property could not be better placed in Emsworth, very close to the village centre with some nice shops, pubs and a couple of higher end restaurants if pub food is not to your choosing. Despite being so close to the village centre it was very quiet at night and we slept very well in the enormous beds. Our dog loved staying in this property and there is a good dog walk within a few steps of the cottage. The only minor quibbles are that there was no can opener and there was no toilet paper to...

"It was clean, staff was very helpful and answered our questions as far as how to get around to London. They also kept our luggage at their office until we got a room. They also let us into our room ahead of scheduled which was nice after our disembarkation from a long cruise. Breakfast was really good as well. Highly recommended it!"
