Stunning location. Beautiful gardens and ‘secret’ pathways. Very quiet. Comfortable beds and powerful shower! Beautiful lounge and dining area and well set up with pool table. Would be great for a group but also relaxing for a couple. Wonderful stay.

Stayed in one of the motel rooms during a 2-day stopover for business. Have stayed here before and the experience was just as good this time around. Motel room impeccably clean. Also comfortable and quiet. Very good value for money. Staff are excellent here. I noticed that the wi-fi was considerably faster and much more reliable than during my previous stay. That was about my only issue during my previous stays, but it's a LOT better now. I highly recommend Stratford Kiwi Motels &...

Outstanding location to stay and have a break. Highly recommend! Get in quick while you can get access to this amazingly beautiful and well located property.

Peaceful & beautiful location, close to the city. Friendly hosts, and very comfy rooms. Would definitely recommend

A lovely relaxing place, a very warm welcome .

We enjoyed the pool and spa. A real treat even in November. Great cooked breakfast and associated options. Will certainly come again. benefited from the special room rate of $104. Thank you.

Boutique hotel in an old country pub-- real imagination and flair used here--staff were briliant

Loved being in the middle of everything. Across the road is the shopping centre (centre city), just a block down the road is a number of cafes and restaurants/bars, a block up the road is the movie theatre and you are around the corner from the Main Street. I would recommend the metrotel motel to people who enjoy the night life or would rather walk to everything then drive.

Nice quiet motel with lovely view of the mountain.

great easy check in, friendly staff. my room was immaculate and really comfortable

Excellent place, staff very friendly, great location, very central, would definitely stay again

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel was very clean and comfortable only thing i can fault was there was no soap in the dispenser or shampoo or conditioner as it stated in the advertising, beds were so comfortable, loved the view from our room, was quite noisy with cars on friday night though but i guess thats part of being in a busy place like new plymouth🙂would love to know what sheets were on the beds i want to buy some for at home🙂

A great place to stay, close to the beach, close to town and eateries. A warm welcome, clean and modern with a good car park. Excellent staff who go the extra mile.

Facilities: laundry cafe below; Value: Boutique style @ budget; Service: V friendly local staff; Cleanliness: Brand spanking new; Strolling distance from Pukekura park if you're attending a concert. Go for a King Room, doubles are street side.

Just perfect for what we needed, we will be back. We need more time to explore next time.

From initial check in, to our departure, a terrific stay. The young lady who checked us in was fantastic. (Casey) Not just a generic greeting, but a genuine interest in our reason for the visit and a warm welcome. Bed extremely comfortable, great shower and air conditioning which worked beautifully. As an added bonus, coffee in the morning was spot on. I would recommend the Novotel 100% and will look no further for my next stay. Well done to the team.

This is my second stay at Tairoa Lodge. It is a beautifully restored house with kauri floors and staircase, set in a large garden. Outside, the kauri trees, although young for kauri trees, are magnificent. Linda was an attentive host with a good eye for the details that make your stay memorable. Highly recommended for a taste of historic New Zealand.
