This is a fabulous hotel. I started my stay for two nights and extended three more. Very courteous and helpful staff. Rooms were quiet, comfortable beds and very nice sheets and pillowcases. Would highly recommend this place. One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had.

central location , easy to get around . only the Entry and exit from hotel property is bit off the mark to add into the parking . in-room dining was good . room spacious , needed to have more bells and whistle in room in terms of refreshments , drinks , milk for tea coffee .

Great central location within walking distrance to a lot of cafes and things to see and do. Also the staff were really friendly, professional and super helpful. Especially Celia (and another young lady) who helped us with a ribbon hold punch for a gift.

Great place, great sleep

Received a friendly welcome from reception staff. Our room was very clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. Lovely bed, slept beautifully.

The reception staff were amazing! Made us feel welcome and nothing was a problem. Our room was perfect and we slept really well. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was YUM. Thank you to all the staff at Novotel, New Plymouth.

All the staff there, we found to be so friendly, efficient and very helpful. Thank you to the chefs in the bistro bar for the delicious meals. Steaks cooked to perfection. Clean premises and guest room. Carpet in our room, although clean, looked a bit worn and also the single chair in our room, the material was frayed at the armrest. However, the amazing staff there, made the experience 10/10.

An attractive building close to the city centre.Accessible but limited free parking. Staff were friendly,welcoming and approachable.we were disappointed with the a la carte breakfast.We ordered poached eggs on toast and received fried eggs on warm bread .

Great place, room was sized perfect. I used the gym, a little small but had sufficient equipment. The hotel is at a higher rate so i was surprised that they charged a separate fee for covered parking. The outside free parks were taken by staff or you could park down the road on the street away from the hotel, a little inconvenient.

Pretty nice place. Clean and comfortable. Very easy to go to the city center by walking. Parking is not free, $20 a day. But can park on the street or a few free parking in the hotel yard. Some tenants in the hall were quite noisy. But luckily they didn't keep loud after midnight.
