Great little away close to the city
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub but it was the furry friends Gryff and Raven (2 resident dogs) that made this a getaway we will always remember. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again!

Cabin by the creek
Quiet location, with a well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed both the hot tub and sauna. Also enjoyed the dog company on our snowshoe along the creek.

Perfection!
My friend and I stayed here as a half way between where each of us lives and had a girls weekend. What an incredible little slice of heaven. The space was clean and so beautiful, the cabin felt so homey and was just a perfect place to hide away from the hustle and bustle of life. We utilized the hot tub and sauna during the stay and it was so wonderful! The first night we got there we couldn't get the sauna to turn on so the next morning we sent Emily a message and the sauna was quickly fixed. This location has so many amenities and extras and really makes staying here easy and so relaxing. We would love to return in the future and hoping to make it an annual location for our girls weekend. Emily is very quick to message back and was just the most wonderful host. We also had the dogs come and visit and they are just the sweetest pups and they made the visit even better! Thanks so much!

Beautiful place all around
Would have loved to of had a fireplace, even an electric one would have made it even cosier. Really nice spot, fell in love with the dogs, hope to visit again in the summer.

Cozy Cabin
My girlfriends and I needed a little getaway and this cabin was the perfect place, close to town, beautiful cabin and location, lots to do with hot tub and fire pit! We loved visits from the pups next door and just overall had a wonderful time.

Very cute cabin -well appointed. Beds super comfy. 2dogs were super friendly and officially welcomed us! A bit disappointed that there were no accessible walking paths through the woods or along the creek. Write up could have provided a few more details of what to expect and what was provided but host was very responsive to our questions and always replied quickly to our inquiries. Very secluded and peaceful-was a great retreat to allow our group of friends to recharge and be creative.

Loved this cabin. Had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was fabulous and the sauna too. Loved been greeted by the dogs daily and we even had cats visit too. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic getaway!
My friends and I had a great stay at Emily’s place! It’s exactly as pictured, clean and serene. The dogs visited every day and were well behaved and receptive to many pets and belly rubs! Emily is a wonderful host - very quick to respond to even the dumbest of questions. 😁 We’ll definitely be back! Tracy

Great time, not too far from Pigeon lake.
Nice place to switch off for a few days. We take time to do some fishing and on Pigeon lake. Fishing is just incredible. We bring the kids riding on the tube for one afternoon. Come back to the cabin for souper, and relaxed for the rest of the day with the girls in the hot tube, camp fire, and that at only 40 to 45 minutes from Edmonton. Just a beautiful place at a great location.

20th Wedding Anniversary
The cabin was very nice and secluded. It had everything we needed cook and relax. Hot tub was awesome, two seats had really good massage jets. Fire pit was really nice and the wood provided was well seasoned. Dog we're super friendly but not overbearing. Very well mannered farm dogs! Cabin is 5 minutes from Thorsby where there is an excellent meat shop and family restaurant. The restaurant has a large menu and the food was great. Liquor store is across the street from the restaurant. Emily was very responsive and helpful when contacted. No complaints of any kind. Our stay was wonderful.

Great place to unwind and shed the city life. Very quiet and we loved when the dogs came to visit us. The cabin size was perfect and we enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We came back rested and refreshed - mission accomplished. We will be back!

Annual girls getaway !
We had a fabulous time! It was a perfect location for a quick get away for myself and four girl friends. Emily and her husband were wonderful. The dogs were an absolute joy to meet and greet us! And the porch was where we made a few memories that will be shared for years to come! ☀️😎

Just the quiet escape we needed
My sister and I booked the cabin for a “sister trip”. We were both in need of a recharge. Waking up to the birds in the morning was wonderful. We also were treated to a doggy welcome wagon. The doggies were just as excited as we were. The cabin offers peace, quiet and a welcome escape from the chaos of city like. We’re thinking about booking some time in the fall as well

Nice cabin close to home. We had an incredible time. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. The site dogs were so friendly and cute they were an added bonus. The check in was easy. We will definitely be back!!!

Peaceful cabin getaway
I booked this cabin for a 3-day getaway from the city and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin is so welcoming and homey, has all the essentials you need, and the private hot tub and sauna are a wonderful bonus. Would definitely book again!

Perfect getaway
We wanted a retreat from the busy city life & this was exactly what we needed. The cabin was perfect, all the comforts of home. We had a wonderful, relaxing time here. The best therapy for us was the companionship of the 2 dogs. We enjoyed them so much, super friendly…they were really adorable. Highly recommend anyone needing a break from city life. Gem in the Woods
This property was absolutely spectacular. The photos don't do is justice - they layout was perfect and there was everything we could need. Communication with the hosts was wonderful. The two friendly dogs were an amazing bonus! This cabin got three teen boys off their phones and out playing in the creek for hours. AND a hot tub. We'll be back!

Romantic getaway!
We had a peaceful two nights at this cabin! It was clean and quiet and had everything we needed! The farm dogs are super friendly and we enjoyed their company. Those staying in the winter be sure to bring snowshoes if you want to hike along the creek. We had to redirect our walk to the road as we didn’t bring them, thinking there wouldn’t be enough snow for them. We plan to return!!

Cabin in the Woods
Our friends from Germany wanted to stay a few days in a Cabin in the Woods. This place fit the description and did not disappoint. The winter wonderland we were immersed in was very relaxing. The hot tub was used many times and the dry sauna was an unexpected bonus. The Creek and banks next to the property was larger than. Expected and we went on several long walks.
