It needs a good deep clean the vent in the bathroom and skirtings needed a clean. The security latch fell of the window.The beds were clean and comfy. basic enough for what we needed. Needs updating and maintenance.

The room was very clean. Staff was amazing really helpful went out of there way to help. Great location for the beach, town, bars and restaurants. Only a 20 mins bus ride to seven sisters national park. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it's a great location. Will be booking up again.

If you need a place just to sleep-- nothing else (shower, eat, etc.)-- it's fine. It does the job. They leave the dirty laundry out in the halls, the water was boiling hot (the only way to shower was to turn on the sink as well), and the staff were no where to be found when we went to checkout. Nice beach view though, good location.

Location is amazing. Property was clean just one advise to staff they should really allow guest to keep luggage and not upset them over they don't have space etc. as over all experience was really really good just on last min when checking out I had to really convince staff to keep my bags.

Got warm welcome from the gentleman behind the reception desk. He explained our where about are room and what lift to use We had a nice seaview room which was very comfortable The bar wasn’t open But enjoyable stay

If you are in Eastbourne for work and just need somewhere to get your head down it's fine. Beds are clean etc. Other than that, I would highly recommend the East Beach next door. They were our saviours. If you are a bit mobility impaired there are no amenities anywhere near. If it wasn't for the East Beach, we would have been stuffed

Staff not ready for check in... waited. Beach view yes but also looking out to a little filled roof top wall to rooftop. Access through a window that wouldn't close, thus zero security. Staff unavailable at counter to ask about it. Wasn't expecting AC but a fan should have been provided with 30°C weather. It was a sweat box despite the open windows which let in all the street noise. Staff didn't respond to dings to ask about getting a fan. Thin sheet covering mattress came off with a simple rollover but lots of tossing due to the incredible heat inside the room.
