The Riviera is a well located clean and comfortable travellers inn. Our room was very spacious overlooking the beach and having a lift was very welcome convenience for us to access our room. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

We often stay here we choose it over other hotels in Eastbourne .It is in an excellent location near the pebble beach and pier and it is only a short walk to bars and restaurants. The staff are always warm friendly and helpful without being obtrusive .Comfy beds ,clean rooms lovely sea view available bathroom although quite compact is clean and functional with shower and a bath in larger or family rooms I rate this hotel 10/10

Very pleasent stay. Just one night but room was very clean and comfortable. Receptionist was so helpful. No carpark attached to hotel but you can buy a permit for cheap at reception and receptionist helped to sort this. Good location, close to the pier. Walking distance to the center. Would definitely stay again.

Love staying at the Riviera we stay here 3/4 times a year staff are helpful and friendly.It is a great location, seafront near the pier and a short walk to shops and restaurants.Would highly recommend this hotel

My single room although small was very clean, including the bathroom. The only downside was that the walls are thin and I could hear someone snoring in the next room! All the staff, reception and breakfast staff, were very friendly and helpful. Overall I would really recommend this hotel. It is on the seafront and good value. Breakfast is extra but there was a good choice and was well cooked.

Great for a bargain night at the beach. The hotel was beachfront and close to the pier, so that sums up the highlights. The staff were great and very helpful. As for the room, it was clean. However, the TV didn't work, there was a bit of mold in the bathroom, and the mattress was lumpy and not wonderful as a large male. Focusing on positives, location, staff, and 85 quid for a Saturday night. Would I stay there again, ehhh, maybe? Probably not.

Functionally acceptable, but there were better hotels along the seafront for similar prices. I won’t be staying there again. It was a hot night, so I had the windows open and the environment was very noisy, so I didn't get much sleep. The following night, I realised fans were available but only noticed discreet signs mentioning them, even then very uncomfortable, but on the upside the staff did very well with what they had to work with.
