"When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. "A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. "This was a great find for us. It's quiet and it of the way. Peaceful and set in rice paddy fields whilst only 10 minute walk to the Indo/StarMart or Babi Guling. Our 3 room villa had a private pool, small kitchen and dining area. TV facilities weren't connected until we asked. Restaurant area is nice and affordable. Decent variety. Pool area is great for adults and family and bring open a a local water park you get to mingle with locals in the afternoon. The staff were incredible!!! Local...
