"We had an amazing stay, the room was nice and clean and had a good air conditioner. It was the perfect “home base” for exploring Mt. Desert Island and downtown Bar Harbor!"

"We came into Ellsworth so we could have dinner at The Lost Kitchen. The apartment was perfect. My daughter and I even went downstairs and bought new outfits at Toko for our special night. All of the restaurants were within walking distance and wonderful places to eat. Close enough to Bar Harbor to visit, but we did not have to deal with the crowds."

"This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby...

"The house is so cute and our room was lovely. Host was super responsive to problems. The room had a great set up in terms of furniture and the bathroom. Loved having a fridge. You probably are more attentive than me but I didn’t understand that there was no microwave on property so just plan accordingly.
