The hosts have accomplished absolute magic in their herculean efforts to make this building a draw for the town. They succeeded wildly, with only a few new-lodging quirks to work out. The design is just enough, with subtle details somehow receding into the character of the moment rather than feeling obvious and cliché. We have been waiting for years to see what might be accomplished here, with not high hopes....

"My main reason for picking this property was its closeness to the airport, however, it turned out to be a little too far from Acadia national park. It was new and clean, however, people walking upstairs, transmitted noise significantly through the ceiling. And although I did not contact the manager for help, the thermostat did not work."

"Once again, an exceptionally pleasant stay from Linda & Hans! The 3 bedroom was perfect! Roomy, clean, comfortable and easy to keep with a full kitchen to prepare quick meals. And especially allergy free for me! My husband was able to work remotely for a couple days and enjoyed dashing out for a great burrito across the street (86 This). Our son enjoyed the back bedroom with a desk for evening gaming with friends. Convenient to family that live and work in Ellsworth (Atlantic Art Glass). Living...

"This was a great place for me to rest my head while exploring the surrounding area, including Acadia which is just about 20 miles away. The space has a great area for some lounging, a cute kitchen, and comfortable bed. The host was responsive within minutes to every question I had, and even left fresh local veggies, eggs and coffee. Great place. I would happily return if in the area again!"

Perfect distance from a grocery store and several restaurant choices as well as convenience stores and gas stations. The owners responded immediately to any question I had.
