"Excellent friendly staff"

"Near tunnel. Basic hotel. Parking supposed to be subsidised but signage demands registration immediately... if you wait you get a code to reduce code... good to know AFTER youve paid! Tunnel noise is like regular thunder in your room. Not great. "

"The staff was very helpful, Gary on reception was amazing and was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and gave great advice on things to do. The breakfast was alright and the bar area was very good and the barman was kind and very attentive. Good food and drink in the bar. My room was very clean and well done to the cleaners for their part in it. The room was a little bit smaller than the photos but a beautiful view of the bay/port. There was a slight watery sound when I was trying to sleep at night, not sure if it was the pipes or the Air-con but would get that checked out. Overall a lovely hotel, well worth a visit if you are going to the port or going to see the area or white cliffs "

"A great find. Staff are very friendly and professional at the same time. Food is excellent both lunchtime and dinner. Our room was very good and the amenities are very good. Spa was excellent value and friendly so no complaints at all."

"A charming, cosy stay just outside Canterbury’s West Gate, with a great view of the historic entrance itself. The location is ideal, within easy walking distance of everything while still feeling slightly tucked away. The room was on the smaller side, but warm, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, which made the stay feel personal rather than transactional. The standout touch was the happy hour from 6–7pm, with a 2-for-1 cocktail offer paired with a complimentary cheese platter. That alone felt like exceptional value and added a lot to the overall experience. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value. Would happily stay again and recommend to others."
