The property is amazing and the staff are exceptional. The cabins are beautiful and well maintained. They offer a shuttle service from the main building to your cabin, very convenient. The Pub atmosphere and food were excellent. If you stay here you must do the tour, and sample their products. Overall a great place to stay, play and relax

We had a great stay in one of the Chalets at this Inn. The property is beautiful. Our rooms were a bit dated but clean and cozy. The dinner at the pub was excellent, especially the fish cakes and the sticky toffee pudding. They offer a shuttle from the chalets to the restaurant, which is good the road was quite bumpy, and we wanted to have a few drinks at dinner. It’s in a good location, just off the Cabot trail and close to Inverness beach. Highly recommend staying here if you are in this area.

The room 205, and bathroom water smelled like a fish tank. A dehumidifier would have helped greatly with the dampness of the room. The restaurant food was fair, the bargirls were great! Everyone was helpful and pleasant.

The stay was great! It was an overnight stay for us. We had a nice dinner at the resort and enjoyed some live celtic music. The food, service and staff were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be that the outside grounds were not kept up, but this could be because we were early in the system and they may not have had an opportunity to get at the spring cleanup.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Cabin 11 high above the distillery. We spent two nights there and enjoyed two very pleasant evenings in the pub with excellent live entertainment from 8 to 10 pm. A complimentary shuttle bus between the cabin and the pub ensured we were free to enjoy ourselves without need or concern for driving up the steep climb back to our cabin in our own vehicle. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and we arrived with many trees in full bloom. Although the weekend turned out to be cold and wet, we hardly minded, being able to enjoy a lovely fire in the little woodstove. The well equipped cabin had everything we could have asked for and the staff went out of their way to provide additonal paper and kindling when we ran out on the second day. The peaceful atmosphere and mountain views made this a very romantic getaway that we fully intend to return to next year.

We want to give 2 ratings as we stayed in the cabins up the mountain and had dinner in the restaurant. Dinner at the restaurant was wonderful ( 5 Star). Food and staff were great and we were entertained by 2 local musicians. Fantastic time. The power went out in the area that night, but the main building had a generator so the restaurant and rooms attached to the main building were not affected. Not the same experience for the cabins up the mountain. Maybe a ( 1 Star) stay. No power until 11pm that night and no running water for toilets, sinks, etc all night. Water came back on at 7am. For a large group in this cabin, the sleep that night was terrible. When we checked out, we asked if the company would compensate us in any way? We were thinking about a small token; maybe a credit to our credit card or a gift certificate to their store. Staff said "sorry, there is nothing we can do". Never even offered to ask an on-site manager. The cabins were in poor shape, the shower stall even had rust in it. The lack of empathy from staff left a bad taste with us. We would not stay on-site again. I would hope Management will look into this matter, as I am sure I am not the only person affected that night. Chris S.

Beautiful and peaceful place. We stayed one night but had a wonderful stay. We ate dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the whiskey cocktails. We would stay there again.
