Staff were very friendly & accommodating. The beds were the best we’ve slept in during our two weeks of travelling. Everything is very clean. Although this motel does not offer a free breakfast, they have a very reasonably priced on-site restaurant. The food was excellent (especially the coffee) and the view spectacular.

Duck Cove Inn is a charming, family-run inn nestled along the world-famous Cabot Trail. With panoramic views of the Margaree River and Valley, it’s affectionately known as “The Inn with the View”. and for good reason. We enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty that surrounds the property. It is a perfect base for exploring Cape Breton Island.

Lovely balcony view over the harbour in a lovely fall forested area. Room prices were higher than expected, we seniors travelling could use a break ocassionally.

We stayed only for a short overnight rest after hiking in the Cape Bretton, but the cleanliness of the room and newly renovated bathroom was impressed. There are a couple of quite sandy beaches close by to swim and watch the sunset and wake up to watch the sunrise and beautiful mountain and river next morning from the room window.

Cleanest hotel/motel in Canada!

This is a great place to stay. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever been in. The staff will do anything to make the stay worthwhile.
