"A delightful heritage hotel so close to the city CBD. A little bit of luxe in Dunedin with quality fittings, comfortable beds and NZ made amenities. Love the nod to its Scottish heritage with a tartan wool blanket on every bed. Also highly recommend in-house dining at The Press Club. The food and service was exceptional."

"Lovely staff, good breakfast, clean rooms but very run down hotel. Not enough staff to have bar or restaurant open except for breakfast. Good location. Needs a major update though!"

"It was so close to where we needed to be. The hill was a bit much though LOL. We really enjoyed it. Expedia never gave us the contact number of the owner for check in. Thankfully a man walking past knew her and helpfully provided her details"
