"The hotel is nice, but the surrounding area is not very safe or clean. The common areas in the hotel are very well kept except for the pool area. It is in need of a major refresh. Our room is also in need of a refresh, especially the bathroom. The shower knobs did not work well, and the water pressure was almost nonexistent on the regular shower head. "I walked in my room - up a steep and creaky flight of stairs - with some trepidation, but I was immediately in love. The place is clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches such as the white noise generator and earplugs to compensate for the fact that downtown Reno is noisy; the hot water pitcher that works for the steep-able coffee or tea, whichever you prefer; and the plentiful plugs for charging things and smart TV.
