"The rooms were very clean and memory foam mattress so comfortable. The owner (Anthony) is super attentive and friendly. Last but not least their light continental breakfasts were tasty with a homemade touch. We’d come back in a heartbeat."

"Great house for two small families to share! Very clean and well-stocked. The grounds were fantastic for playing hide and seek and other fun ball games. The location is very serene and feels private. There is a main road bordering the property, but it's a country road with few cars traveling on it. Not a big deal at all. Also had A/C for some hot days. Loved this house!"
"My wife, kids, grandkids and two dogs had a wonderful time while staying in this wonderful home on Orcas Island. Actually, there are two homes, and with 8 people, the extra space was nice (the guest home had a queen bed and full bath). All the beds were ultra comfortable, the house was very clean, and the kitchen well stocked.The folks at the management company were great and sent us everything we needed to know about the house ahead of time. The only downside to our stay was that the internet wasn’t working, but we were there to eacape, so we didn’t really need to call the property manager to get it working. "

"Wonderful secluded house nestled in amazing flora and fauna, this was the respite from the Arizona heat we were looking for. When not hiking or exploring the island, we loved sitting on the expansive deck trying to spot all the different birds we were hearing, while keeping an eye out for ocean critters. Didn’t see any orcas but we did hear one on our first morning there. We did see plenty of bald eagles and deer! The house was well supplied for all, including toys and crib for a three year old. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the showers. Kitchen was well appointed, although as another reviewer pointed out, the pans need an upgrade. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of extra blankets. A bit of a drive from town and shopping but well worth it. Make sure to buy some farm fresh eggs from the nearby stand!"
"This was such a wonderful stay with everything we needed. The hosts were very communicative with important information before, during, and after the stay. Check in instructions were a breeze and everything was well marked. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy our time on Orcas. The outside yard was great for our dog. The property is very quiet and further out from the main hustle and bustle, but close to a number of hikes and trails- which is exactly what we hoped for. If you're looking for a quiet reprieve with helpful hosts, this is the place for you. "
"We stayed at the Cottage at Doe Bay for about a week in late September and had such an amazing time. It was so peaceful and quiet. My husband and I enjoy to cook and thought the kitchen was well stocked. The bed was also comfy.
The cottage is within walking distance to Doe Bay Resort and that was also an amazing little spot. It has a nice farm to table cafe and we had dinner and happy hour while we were there. They do have limited days and hours. But I think that’s just island time.
