"This property is in a very nice location. We missed the sign on the main road and had to make a u-turn. The room was typical, they do not have staff for 24 hr check in. It's done on your phone. They send you your room number and code to get in. The problem with this is there is no wifi service and Verizon has no phone service. Before you get there make sure you have all the information that you need. With no service there you are out of luck. They have a private beach but we never saw it. We had been driving all day and arrived at 2:00. Check in is at 4:00. We hoped to check in a little early. If our room had been ready they would have charged us $25 to check in early. They should change that policy."

"We've been coming to Orcas for years and this is now our favorite house. The views are incredible and it feels so remote, despite the fact that it is so close to town and Moran State Park. Everything in the house is perfect from the beds to the furniture to the well appointed kitchen. It is truly a gem of a house and we will definitely come back."

"We spent 5 nights here in August 2026. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house sits perched on the NE corner of Orcas island. There isn’t beach access and walking and biking from the house is challenging because of how steep the terrain is. But the views of the sky and water are fabulous. We were mesmerized. The beds and pillows are good. The kitchen has everything you need. The furniture is comfortable and in good shape. We were especially impressed by how clean everything was. We recommend this place without reservation and we hope to return next year."

"Beautiful home and location, it was perfect for our family of 7 (all adults). We love cooking and enjoyed our dinners on the patio almost every night! The game room downstairs was so fun - we played pool, played arcade games and enjoyed the hot tub. Overall, it was a very comfortable home and a great experience!"

"Beautiful location, super secluded on a dead-end road up Buck Mountain. Comfortable, clean, communicative hosts - would absolutely stay again! The road to the location is smooth and well maintained, but windy and very steep. Would recommend all-wheel drive in winter, totally fine in summer for all vehicles."
