"Property was roomy and comfortable. Everything worked as expected, including Wi-Fi and TV. The screened porch was great and we made good use of it. Early August was quite warm in Pittsburg and we appreciated standing fans in each bedroom and overhead fans in the living/dining areas, as well as a couple of window air conditioners. Direct access to Perry Stream and the trails Jeff maintains on his property was an added bonus enjoyed by our grandson, our dog, and all the adults. A great place to stay."
"The Lake House at Stark was everything we hoped for and more! We planned for two nights but extended to three because it was just that good. The three story cabin is cozy yet spacious, fully stocked, and sits right on a stunning lake. We spent our days fishing (and grilling our catch!), canoeing, kayaking, hiking nearby trails, and enjoying the breathtaking scenery. Phil and Cheryl were outstanding hosts, warm, responsive, and generous with their home and gear. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing yet adventure filled family getaway. We’re already planning our return!"
