"Travelled with a family member and was very happy to find a place near to other family who live in the area. Hotel is clean, bright, modernized. They are about to open a full kitchen adjacent to the very acceptable continental breakfast area which is presently available. Only issue is the creaky floors but they are not more than a bit of a distraction."

"The hotel is about a mile outside of downtown Lancaster with a lovely view of the mountains behind the property. The interior looked a bit shabby and the dark color scheme made it feel old. Most of that is cosmetic though. Our room was clean and comfortable. The grip bar in the bathtub was missing, but everything was in good shape otherwise. The fitness room was surprisingly large and well equipped (although the carpet and floor mats have seen better days). Staff were friendly and professional....

The reception attendants, and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in suggesting local restaurants and shopping with directions. The breakfast area was well stocked and the attendant was exceptional in performing his duties in that area of the hotel. "

"We could not have asked for a better experience. Went with a group of 5 for the eclipse and it was spectacular. Spotless and gorgeous cabin. Room for all and to spare. The view of the water, breathtaking. Went for a great 4 mile run in the morning. Bobbi Sue made the whole trip. Fantastic communication and we wanted for nothing . Cannot wait to come back!!!! "

"Very cool old hotel. The hotel has so much history. The rolling floors show the age of the hotel but give it character and makes it real. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They are super pet friendly. Anna at the front desk was wonderful. She suggested a couple restaurants with in walking distance. "The Cabin was great for my family, and pets. We spent 5 days during New Years and the house was warm and had everything you could need to stay. Just bring your food and your family. The owner is lovely, and kind. The drive up was beautiful and the land is amazing as well. We were 3 1/2 hours from the cabin and plan to book with them again."
