"I loved the way this older historic hotel has been renovated. The original floors, lobby and main rooms remind you of its history while the rooms, bedding, and amenities are up to date. The music in the various rooms changes creating an ambiance reminder of the old mixed with the new. Staff is very very attentive. I loved seeing the children at the pool, playing on the extensive lawn and all dressed in their resort casual for dinners. It reminded me of all the special reasons families love this...

"The front desk staff at check in was kind of a jerk and not very welcoming. She made a comment about me using an outside agency to make my booking. It was kind of a put down. Our room was not ready for us when we arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon. House keeping was still cleaning it. We had to wait until 4:15 before she would give us our key or tell us where we were staying. We could use all of the facilities (pools and fitness center as well as the many restaurants and the shuttle bus to the main hotel and to the ski area) at the Hotel Mount Washington.
