Easy to get to Hotel from Airport. Train to Makkasan station, easy walk to MRT, then hotel shuttle bus to hotel. At less than A$2 a person, great!! Taxi is also cheap, but we had lots of bags which needed 2 taxis or a minivan.
The hotel is of very good quality. Staff are friendly. We walked outside to see some of the markets and buy some fruits. Nice people.
Great for transit through Bangkok on our way to London from Sydney.

I've done a lot of travel and this is the first time I really felt at home. Such a warm and friendly feeling. Sam has got plenty of entertaining stories, and will bend over backwards to make sure you are made to feel welcome.
I originally intended to stay just one night, but after meeting Sam happily booked the rest of my stay there.

This was the best hotel I stayed at in Thailand. Big comfortable bed. Great shower. Good views and plenty of room. The food downstairs was mediocre, but the staff were lovely.

Always a great stay at the Chatrium Riverside. Must have stayed at this hotel 20 plus times over the last 10 years.
Never fails to impress.
Staff always welcoming and happy to see me.

Great hotel recently renovated. Great location near all the nightlife, bars, restaurants etc but far enough away so its quiet at night away from the hustle and noise.
The rooms have all be updated. The staff are very helpful and polite.
For those that are on a budget but still want to stay somewhere clean and modern and near everything this place is excellent. Well done.
