"Great location obviously sitting right on the rim. Good food and wide selection of drinks. Good service. Strange you don’t get a Wi-Fi voucher for each night stay as we ran out on final night of our 2 nights. Appreciate you can buy more access but really for a hotel of this standard you should get one voucher per night. Trip into canyon worth doing, whilst it’s a full day and on some bumpy roads, to be able to get to swim and lunch near the bottom was a special experience. "

"The room with private pool was absolutely beautiful! Food was good. Waterhole excursion was good, just the road needs some work and it’s quite a distance away. "This is a very beautiful property, an actual castle, no 3! There were the most spectacular sunrises & sunsets, staff were wonderful. The only issue we had was there was no AC at night & the rooms were very hot & with animals nearby we didn’t feel safe opening windows (no screens)…. we couldn’t sleep either night we were there. "

The accommodation is clean but the external canvas over the small kitchen area is in need of replacement. The rooms, location and food were all spectacular and the value for money was great, I found the quality to be better than other places we stayed that were double the price. "I had camped at the Desert Horse Inn campground on a visit to Namibia in 2005. It was an enjoyable experience. Passing through again in 2024, I was curious to see what the villas were like.
