The hosts and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. They cook the best bacons and eggs. The breakfast is good and tasty. Even got the chance to enjoy the breakfast and swim with giraffes. The room is clean and comfy. It was good that warming mattress is provided for the cold night. The kitchen is fully equipped. The hotel is just 20 minutes drive from Windhoek city centre. It is a perfect getaway for relaxing after the long flights and long transits. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic place. Very clean. Big place with open plan living room and kitchen, and separate bedroom and en-suite. Huge bed. Big shower. Basic amenities for cooking and plenty of appliances e.g. kettle, toaster, stove, microwave, bench top oven, two mini fridges, TV and fan. Only hand soap and body wash provided in the bathroom. My family and I stayed at River Crossing Lodge on two occasions - two nights upon arrival in Namibia and again on the night prior to departure. We found the lodge to be ideal for our needs - close to the city but far enough away to ease into our adventure and feel as though we were already in the African bush.
