"This property was decent and clean and very close to the dunes entry area. Our unit was a bit of a walk away from the parking area so that was a challenge. Also, there is no wifi in the rooms (really no wifi in all of the area). You had to go to the restaurant or bar area to get wifi and that was very frustrating. I could not even make phone calls from my room without a wifi connection. I think this information should be made known ahead of time so people can prepare for that situation."

"We received a very friendly welcome! We loved the fact that the gemsbok walked passed the tent without fear, the 8 tents were spaced just far enough apart at the foot of the ancient dunes, the well-planned tent, huge bathroom and veranda with kitchen. Beautiful lounge and pool area at the lodge, where wifi is available. We were blessed with overnight rain. What a lovely experience!"

"I really loved this property and do plan to come back with my family next year. I loved the lodges and the rooftop sleeping option (we did not opt for that this round but next round for sure!). "This is right out of a fantasy. The architecture truly makes you feel like you are in a Moroccan Palace. At Sunset, all the guests gather near the watering hall, and the staff sets up a bar so everyone can enjoy views of the sunset together. Then we moved over to the neighboring dining room for an excellent five course meal with incredible service. The room itself was immaculate. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities such as electricity, hot water, and Wi-Fi, were readily available. This truly was a highlight of our trip and we would recommended it when staying in the Sussusvlei area. "
