The property was very close to a shopping mall where we were able to do currency exchanges and purchases. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. The food was good and the service made the stay very comfortable.

Home away from home

Nice Hotel in Windhoek

Had a 4 day business trip. Nice Hotel. Very clean and pleasant. However the staff are impersonal. Carried luggage on stairs to 2nd floor. Lift hidden by a wooden door. Conference room was unavailable despite booking it a day earlier. No one could tell it had been booked and confirmed. Other than that was a lovely stay. The food is exquisite and well priced. Will be back!

Gewoon een prima hotel voor een goede prijs.

Ik koos dit hotel om dichtbij een ziekenhuis te zijn voor bezoek. Het hotel is prima. Vraag wel naar kamer 215 of 211. Of op deze verdieping waar deze kamers liggen met een balkon!! Want er zijn ook enkele gedateerde kamers zonder balkon. Ik had kamer 211 met een klein balkon. Fantastische kamer !! Groot king size bed van zeker 2 meter breed. Het adres staat op de map verkeerd aangegeven. Dit hotel ligt aan de Dr Frans Indongostreet nr 4. Vlakbij het Roman Catholic Hospital. Kijkt u anders even op de site van het hotel zelf en dan ziet u waar het precies ligt. Hotels.com heb ik hierover geinformeerd. Je loopt in10 min naar het centrum van Windhoek. Het ontbijt is prima. De wifi mag echt verbeterd worden. Al met al een prima hotel onder de Marriott vlag. Ontbijt is inclusief.

Reasonably Good for the price and location.

Listen, this is a 2.5 star hotel, but the location is excellent. It is a short 5-10 minute walk into the downtown area and since it is not downtown, easily accessible. The buffet breakfast is good - don't forget the free cappuccino I have stayed here 4-5 times now. Be sure to request 3rd floor, where most rooms have been updated. It is Marriott property committed to excellence..

Terrible experience!

My key card wouldn't work, so they put me in a cheaper room. The second day the ac would work in the room they put me in, so they put me in another room. The beds looked and felt like they have been their since they built the hotel. Wifi was out as well. Will not stay there ever again!

Central, all quite good - I stayed twice!

I stayed one night on my way through Windhoek, and on my way back through a few days later happily returned for another night. The rooms were clean and modern. Internet was fast and pretty solid. Breakfast was good. Location was convenient to the mall and Independence Street. Plenty of parking - really, nothing to complain about. Would definitely recommend.

Old hotel next to a highway

I was initially put on the third floor, which was noisy because of the noise from the street. We looked a some rooms until the housekeeping lady recommended the first floor as the quietest. During the night there was a connecting door into the next room. The guy in there had his TV on loud until late when he finally slept he snored so loud I kept waking up from the noise both nights!

Very good. Conference stay. Staff accommodating, facilities perfect for group our size. Plenty opportunities to mingle and gather and sup together. Do wish it had a fitness room and pool was functional. Otherwise, all amenities were quite good.

Stayed two days, enjoyed the downtown area over the holidays. Walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. Convenient access to highways as well
