The room was spacious, clean with an amazing view. The staff were excellent as was the food.

My friend and I ended our Namibia trip here and it was absolutely incredible! The views from the property are so serene and stunning. The actual architecture of the property and each individual hut is incredible. The staff was immensely helpful and patient. The food was delicious, the beds were SO comfortable. They have great guides for the game drives and excursions. We were so happy to end our trip here!

We stayed for two nights. The setting on a hill overlooking the private reserve is simply breathtaking. The views are outstanding, and the atmosphere is very special. The staff is wonderful; Ndeshi, Ludo, Moses and Toini in particular made our stay memorable. The kitchen prepares excellent dishes and consistently goes the extra mile. Given the comparatively high game drive prices, especially if you want to see predators, the math is quite simple and we decided to upgrade to full board. Guests should be aware that full board, unlike in many other lodges, only includes soft drinks, beers and house wine (no liquor), and that massages are charged as add-ons. Unfortunately, behind the scenes there are some critical quality issues. During our stay, there was a recurring problem with rodents entering guest rooms at night. In our case, we had a mouse in the room on both nights, making noise, misplacing personal items, and moving very close to the sleeping area. To be fair, the staff on duty reacted professionally. They offered a room change in the middle of the night and waived part of our bill, which we appreciated. Overall, we still recommend the lodge for its stunning scenery and genuinely warm people. However, from a price–value perspective, we experienced noticeably better value elsewhere in Namibia.

Excellent high end hotel suite with 7 rooms in the heart of Windroek. The staff at the restaurant was especially kind and accommodating!
