Lots of fun touches in the lodge and on the property. Very friendly owners and the breakfast they provided was incredible! We’re looking forward to visiting again

It had everything we needed, was close to cafes, bars & restaurants. Lots of nice little touches throughout. Very comfy bed, & the suite felt plush & cosy. Will definitely stay there again & highly recommend to anyone going to Nelson.

Sunsets were terrific. Very spacious.

We loved the fact we could watch the amazing sunrise this morning from our room. The breakfast was great and so was the company at breakfast, the other guests.

My husband & I stayed for 2 nights, we were made very welcome from the moment we arrived thru to our departure time, the couple were very informative, helpful, friendly & approachable. We loved the style, & comfort of the main house & our accommodation. We ordered breakfast for both days, the service, quality of food, presentation of our food was outstanding & cost was reasonable compared to other places we have stayed. We would highly recommend Cheltenham House. We look forward to staying...

Loved our stay at the St James and would and have already recommended to people. Very modern rooms, we had a deluxe studio on the first floor which had a balcony we could sit out on and enjoy the surrounds. Bathroom and kitchen tiled floors were heated which was so nice to step onto , a real treat. Kitchenette are fully stocked and self catering can easily be done, loved having a water purifier tap in the room which I have not come across at other places.

From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out we could not fault any part of our stay. We booked two rooms for a party of four, one of which has mobility issues. We were accommodated to the fullest but were also given rooms next to each other and close to the entrance of the hotel which seems like a small thing but actual meant a great deal. The rooms were clean and warm and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is pretty great too - 5 minutes walk away from Tahunanui...

We have stayed there twice now and the quality comfort cleanliness and pleasant staff are consistent.. All the important things are there but more importantly there is no skimping on the little stuff .... a vast array of teas and coffees including plunger grounds, laundry powder, laundry facilities in the unit,heated bathroom floor, big bed and the usual welcoming smile

Perfectly located just a short walk from the airport. A lovely quiet place with well appointed rooms and comfy beds. Also there is a bus stop right outside and several restaurants located close by.

This hotel is in the Centre of town, but on a quiet side street. Easy stroll to shops & eateries.

Close to Ashwood Park Retirement village

This is a nice, clean and well-maintained motel. It is well positioned, close to the beach. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He gave us an excellent explanation about all of the attractions around the area with recommendations for what to do and where to eat. We will stay there again when we are in Nelson.
