"Beautiful hotel and grounds however we did feel some areas looked a bit tired. We stayed in a cottage in the grounds and room needed a repair and paint Spa was tired too and the time restrictions of 7-10 am, 5-9 pm were not ideal as you needed to fit in breakfast and dinner too. "Friendly welcoming staff. Lovely views over golf course. Very good costing of room and breakfast included. Staff very helpful as requested earlier check in as had a wedding to attend at nearby venue. Supporting us with our request enabled us to stay at the wedding venue without the need to return for check in part way through the wedding celebrations. "

"My partner and i stayed here for bank holiday weekend. Where i did a surprise proposal to her, the staff were a great help in setting this up for me and recording it. Every member of staff were so friendly and helpfull. We also ate breakfast twice and dinner here once. Food was great all very tasty and reasonably priced."
