"Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Good parking with EV charging. Bedroom was a really good size with lovely old furniture with plenty of drawer and hanging space - but perhaps it looked as though it could do with more furniture to fill some of the spaces. The only downside was having to go outside to get to the restaurant - probably wouldn't have even thought about it in hot weather but it wasn't ideal in the wind and rain. We stayed while the Christmas Fayre was on which was a bonus."

"We loved the room. The huge bath in particular being a highlight! Would definitely recommend this stay to others. We stayed here when visiting Beamish museum. It's hard to get much closer!"
