"Everything about Tankardstown is top notch, from the bubbly welcome you receive to every interaction with the most accommodating staff. We loved our two-level, lovely decorated cottage room that included a small kitchen. If you can get a room, don't hesitate to book. You'll love it. Next time I return I'm staying as long as I can!"

I had a reservation for 2 nights, rec'd numerous emails from hotels.com about it (including the one linking to this survey) only to get there and be told the B&B closed in Nov 2022 and there was no lodging to be had. They literally laughed when we walked in. I contacted hotels.com online, only to be told they couldn't help. "Great hotel! Location was a 40-50€ taxi to airport. The only downside was it took around an hour to get to dublin city center. the buses stop running around midnight/1 so if you are going to bars late in dublin, it is not ideal. but the hotel itself was very nice and the area around it felt safe. i would consider it luxary "
