We had to cancel our plans to avoid getting trapped in a category 5 hurricane on an island that was in its direct path. This hotel declined multiple times to issue a refund, before and after the storm. We would've been trapped with no electricity or clean, running water, and no prediction of if the hotel structure would've withstood the storm or if we would've been killed in the...

"WOW! The price we paid for this room is outrageous! This place is terrible. I'd file a complaint to get my money back if possible. Doesn't look ANYTHING like the pics. We were the ONLY people staying at the hotel. It was like out of a bad horror movie. No phone, no TV, no amenities. It was basically a roof over our heads for almost $400 per night!! "
