"We are so glad to have stayed at the Ocean View Villa. The property was beautiful. We were able to drop our luggage off early in the morning so we didn't have to bring it to Soggy Dollar with us. We walked a lot to both White Bay and Great Harbor. It probably took about 10-15 minutes. The best part was how quiet it was. We could not hear a noise other than the goats and wind. So relaxing."

"Wonderful staff, concierge, and owners, who made us feel so at home, welcomed and cared for from the beginning until our departure! Photos cannot capture the spatial depth of beauty of Gestalt Villa! We hosted several meals for our extended family, 12 persons in all, and there was space for all at table and social spaces and pool made the a joy! Some of our family spent the week on a Moorings bareboat 4200, and being so close to Sopers Hole in the West End of Tortola made the shared experience of sailing and having a villa such a joy! Every request was responded to promptly. Wonderful in every way! "

"Great house with a nice pool on the West End of Tortola. It was convenient to Soper's Hole, the ferry dock at a West End, and Several beaches on the North side of the island. The property manager Sylvia was terrific! Would definitely recommend this house to anyone."

"This beautiful home has everything you could possibly need. You have stunning views from every single room. The house is comfortable and well equipped for grilling out in the beautiful outdoor area or inside in the lovely kitchen while watching the sky turn brilliant colors before you! There’s plenty of room and eating areas for large groups and room to spread out and enjoy meals together or coffee and enjoy the pink flamingos gathered below every day on Long Bay. The roads are precarious but worth it! This home is close to Smugglers and LongBay beaches! Both beautiful they do not disappoint.The management is helpful warm and welcoming and answered all my questions. Book and enjoy!"

"Just returned from a wonderful week at Fort Recovery Beachfront Villas … This property is located on the quiet side of Tortola with spectacular views of St John. Ourwas spotless, comfortable, and steps from the beach. The grounds and pool were clean and clear despite some very windy conditions. A rental car made it easy to tour the whole island, including some “exciting” drives up into the hills. Can’t say enough about Justin and his management of the property. He was helpful, informative, and responded right away to questions or concerns. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the tranquility of it all from our deck and highly recommend Fort Recovery Beachfront Villas to any one looking for a relaxing getaway. We miss the beautiful sunrises and sunsets already and hope to return soon. "

"Loved this gem in Long Bay. It was the perfect spot for us to use as our base as we explored the amazing nearby beaches. We mostly hung out at Long Bay beach by Nature Boy and at Smugglers Cove which were both minutes away by car. The unit comes with everything you’d need for the beach which was appreciated. The unit overlooks a beautiful pool that is part of the relaunched Long Bay resort. We are “beach people“ and were looking to maximize our beach time and therefore not too interested in the fancy pool. I do however, believe “non-resort” guests can purchase a daily “resort pass” for 100 per person when the resort has availability - If having a villa or hotel with daily access to a pool is important to you - either budget for the daily resort pass or maybe look at a different accommodation options. For us it was perfect!!!"
