I hesitated to book this place after I read all the reviews here because people were trashing this place. It always surprises me when people don’t research the parking price ahead of time of booking. But the combination of the expensive parking and the cheap room definitely outweigh all the other areas. The front desk was lovely, inviting and sweet. as well as helpful. The concierge was brand new so he wasn’t that great but he and I learned together that was fun. The room is great except that it was on the fun and games floor (6th), which is a Pac-Man theme, lol. Luckily our room was not themed. Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries, a fridge, comfy bed. We were only missing a nightlight, partner bedside table and basic kit in restroom like makeup remover, q tips etc. you can’t beat this hotel for location. It is so close to the theater and to the convention center. We ate breakfast at Sam’s 3 (a must! Diners Drive-ins and dives 2021 and catecorner to hotel)! I’d stay again.

Such a fun hotel to walk into! They were able to accommodate an early check in for us and late check out! Staff were friendly, fun and easy going! Lobby was clean and well maintained. The shower drain was clogged and ended up flooding a bit of the bathroom so we had to make sure our shower was short so it wouldn’t over flow too much. We were only there for a night so didn’t want to make a big deal out of it but was a bit gross! Overall, a great stay!

Generally, there were a few issues. First of all, we were put in a room with two queen beds while we booked a "two room king bed." The front desk person stated that there were no rooms like this so either Expedia has bad data or the rooms were unavailable. We could not get hot water to our shower even after running the shower for fifteen minutes. Overall, not bad but needs improvement.
